Off the town of Spoleto, traveling through the Spina Valley, at 520 metres above sea level,one gets to this enchanting property. First, on the left, the olive grove appears, it dates back to the 17th century, there are more than 22000 olive trees, then an impressive villa, built in the same century and shaded by cypress trees. Then, on the right hand side, the Borgo houses stretch, among forests and grazing land. An untouched beauty of a location famous for being an oil producing area. The Farm sprawls across 1000 hectares and features the ancient rural borgo of Pianciano, where it is possible to experience the peace and silence of the nature. Pianciano is an ideal place for those who want to get to know and love the green heart of Italy and still discovering all major tourist attractions in Italy. The owner bought the Borgo and the villa back in 1911, the latter is still occupied by the family during summer months. The Borgo was inhabitated by farmers until the 50's, afterwards it was abandoned until the onwer decide to personally supervise the restoration. Nowadays, along with the rental offer, the farm can provide DOP extra virgin olive oil, olives ground in the mill located in the main villa, meat, black truffle. The town Spoleto is well known worldwide for its Festival (Festival of Two Worlds), held once a year in the June-July. At the nearby medieval village of Bevagna a Fair of the 4 town districts (Festa delle Gaite) is celebrated in the month of June. At a short drive other interesting historic and cultural sites are Trasimeno Lake (with its lovely towns of Magione and Castiglione del Lago), Assisi, Perugia, Foligno, Spello.
